• Game content: Characters, campaigns, session transcripts, and notes you create
• Audio data: Voice recordings during sessions, processed in real-time and not permanently stored as raw audio
• Usage data: Session duration, feature usage, and interaction patterns for service improvement

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate the game service
• To process voice input through AI models for real-time gameplay
• To generate AI responses, images, and campaign content
• To enforce usage limits and manage subscriptions
• To improve service quality and fix bugs

3. Third-Party AI Providers

Your game interactions (text prompts, voice audio) are processed by third-party AI providers to generate responses:

• Google Gemini: Primary provider for text generation, voice processing, and image generation. API data is subject to Google's Gemini API Terms.
• OpenAI: Fallback provider for text generation. API data is not used for model training per their Service Terms.
• Anthropic Claude: Fallback provider for text generation. Inputs are not used for training per their Terms of Service.

We send only the minimum context needed for gameplay (current scene, character info, recent conversation). We do not send your account email or personal information to AI providers.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run). We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Audio recordings are processed in real-time through streaming APIs and are not permanently stored as audio files. Session transcripts (text summaries) are retained for game continuity.

5. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Export: Download your characters, campaigns, and session data in portable formats (JSON, PDF)
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Consent management: Control how your data is used for analytics, marketing, and AI training

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies are used only with your consent to understand service usage patterns. We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users aged 13–17 should use the Service with parental consent.

8. Data Retention

We retain your game data (characters, campaigns, sessions) as long as your account is active. Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days. Usage logs are retained for up to 90 days for debugging and service improvement.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
